Owned and operated by the White Mountain Apache Tribe, Sunrise Park Resort is helping build the future of competitive mountain biking in the Southwest. For years, many regional racers have had to travel out of state to compete in sanctioned events, advance through the USA Cycling categories, and pursue opportunities at the national, World Cup, or Olympic level. By bringing USA Cycling-sanctioned downhill and cross-country racing to Arizona, Nevada and the surrounding region, Sunrise is creating a pathway for riders of all ages and abilities to develop, compete, and climb the ranks closer to home. Our goal is to establish Sunrise Park Resort in the summer and Bootleg Canyon in the winter as premier racing destinations where the next generation of elite mountain bikers can begin its journey.
